What's the difference between marinara and?

According to Taste of Home, marinara sauce cooks much faster than tomato sauce (often less than an hour) and has a less complex flavor profile that usually consists simply of tomatoes, garlic and oregano.

As we have mentioned, traditional marinara sauce is usually vegetarian and, on the finer side, it is a fairly mild tomato sauce. This sauce should not be confused with the famous spaghetti marinara, famous in Australia, New Zealand, Spain and South Africa.
